Tonsillectomy for Jacob

On December 30, Jacob had surgery to remove his tonsils. He had obstructive sleep apnea. Since he was so little, the surgery was done at the hospital and required an overnight stay. The surgery went well and they ended up having to remove his adenoids (again) as well. The recovery was ROUGH. It was a full 2 weeks plus some before he was back to 100%. However, he is no longer snoring and has not been sick nearly as much since the surgery.

Right after surgery he felt pretty good and was eating great...the drugs hadn't worn off yet. ;-/

Back at home, feeling horrible, and hoarding his sippy cups. We tried to get him to drink anything and everything...he just liked to hold the cold bottle. Poor guy.

Breckenridge

We spent some time in Breckenridge during our Christmas week in Colorado! I think it is so awesome that our kids can ski with their grandparents!

Joe pelted me in the eye with a marshmallow so I wore my helmet and goggles for the rest of the fight!

We took Jacob for a ride on the gondola since he wasn't able to ski! Hopefully we will be able to get him going next year!

We stopped to see some friends in Denver on our way back to Windsor! It was so good to see them and their awesome kids! Gabi and Octavia have a very special bond.

Ice Skating

My Mom and I took the girls ice skating on Christmas Eve. We laughed a lot and took lots of falls, but eventually go the hang of it!

Christmas in Colorado

We spent a week over Christmas at my Mom and Dad's new house in Windsor, CO. My brother and his girlfriend were also able to join us for the week. We had lots of fun!
