On December 30, Jacob had surgery to remove his tonsils. He had obstructive sleep apnea. Since he was so little, the surgery was done at the hospital and required an overnight stay. The surgery went well and they ended up having to remove his adenoids (again) as well. The recovery was ROUGH. It was a full 2 weeks plus some before he was back to 100%. However, he is no longer snoring and has not been sick nearly as much since the surgery.

Back at home, feeling horrible, and hoarding his sippy cups. We tried to get him to drink anything and everything...he just liked to hold the cold bottle. Poor guy. |
