Ski Steamboat!!

We headed to Steamboat last weekend for 3 fun days of skiing with another family from Buffalo.  The kids had so much fun, as did the adults!, skiing in fresh powder each day!

 He is really learning to ski fast!  His turns and stops are great, but he is easily distracted and likes to go a bit too fast for my liking!  :)

Gabi was really focusing on parallel skiing (no more snowplow for her!)  She loves moguls and can legitimately beat her old mom down a hill in a head to head race.

Basketball, Basketball, & More Basketball!

Gabi has had fun this season playing on the "Buffalo Swish."  It is such a fun group of 4th & 5th grade girls that have been playing together for two years now.  They played in 5th grade tournaments this season and won all of them except one, where they got second.  They have one more to go...the 4th graders only will head to Casper next weekend to see where they stand without the 5th graders.  Gabi's skills have truly shined while playing Y ball as well...she has improved so much from playing on this team.

Red Lodge

We made a quick trip to Red Lodge, MT to get some skiing in between many weekends of basketball.  Jacob took a lesson and had a blast!  Girls picked up right where they left off last season.  :)
