December 2022

Jacob getting some fresh air before the big storm hit!

Jacob was a big help decorating the tree!

Jacob was a tin soldier in 3rd Grade performance of The Nutcracker.  He's in the red vest with the long sleeved navy shirt underneath.  So fun!

My parents came up the weekend of December 16th to watch Maya finish up her basketball season and Gabi start hers.

Maya plays great defense

Gabi is playing point guard on both the freshman and JV teams.  It is so fun to watch her play again since she missed most of last season due to her shoulder injury.  Her shoulder is doing great!

Jacob self-published a comic book.  He is reading it to Papa Gary.  It's pretty funny!

Gabi is on her tiptoes here.  She is now shorter than Maya by quite a bit, but doesn't like to admit it! :)

My mom gives the kids funny gifts of food that I won't buy them.  haha!  Miracle Whip for Gabi

American cheese slices for Jacob!

A nice gift.  What is it with teens and their shoes??

It got stupid cold right as Christmas break started.

Our friends that we went to New York City with after Christmas last year got us this puzzle of Rockefeller Center.  Such fun memories!

We had our friends over for dinner and a gift exchange!

Jacob received big bear foot slippers!

Gabi's huge kit kat bar!

CHRISTMAS!  We went to church on Christmas Even and then came home for Potato Soup and package opening.

Ready for church

New Bison sweatshirts for everyone!

Santa came!!

We had Christmas breakfast at Joyce's.  We had a progressive dinner later at all of our houses.

Cousins on Christmas morning!

We went skiing at Antelope Butte the day after Christmas with our friends from Montana.  We had so much fun!

Jacob & Briggs riding the lift all by themselves

Apres ski!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

November 2022

Maya put her Grandpa and Great-Grandpa's names on the Wall of Solidarity at her school for Veteran's Day.  Our schools do a great job teaching about and honoring Veterans

Maya played basketball this fall!  She had a great time and improved a lot.

She has grown to be one of the taller girls now.  She is just about to 5'6"

Joe went to the CSU vs. Wyoming game in Ft. Collins with his company.  He manages the Loveland office as well as the Wyoming office, so there was lots of rivalry!  Wyoming won! Go Pokes!

Up goes the Home Alone house for the season!

Done!

Maya braved the cold to go to the Wyoming vs. Boise State game with us.  The rest of the kids ventured on to Colorado to stay with my parents.  We had a great time!

THANKSGIVING!  We went to Charlotte, NC to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family.  All of our flights were great and we had a fun time exploring a new city and getting to see where Tom, Angelene, and Ozzy live!

Carving the turkey

Maya and Jacob made turkey cupcakes

Maya loved Ozzy and vice versa.  We took him on lots of walks

Dinner is served! Yum!

We played a lot of Creationary - a lego game

The girls got cash for their birthdays so we did a little shopping!  Fun to shop in a new city!

Ozzy loves everyone!

The guys went to the Raptor Center while we were shopping.  They also went to Top Golf!

Maya, Angelene, Mom, & I went to Sur La Table for a cooking class! It was Italian food.  So fun!

Ornament exchange...another nutcracker for mom!

Gabi invented a new way to hold her fast food on the way home from the airport

We also celebrated Papa Dave's birthday in November!
