The kids loved climbing the rock wall set up outside the rodeo.  Here is Jacob in the striped shirt.

Sheep Lead

All three kids participated in the Sheep Lead again this year.  I made Jacob's blue wool vest and hat.  He pulled off the hipster schoolboy style pretty well!  His lamb was pretty hip too!

Maya wore her wool dress for the sheep lead.  We made a matching blanket for her lamb.  

Gabi wore the wool coat she made for the sheep lead.  She made a matching blanket, complete with the wool needle felting for her lamb.

More 4-H Projects

In addition to market sheep, Gabi & Maya also participate in Fabric & Fashion and Cake Decorating for 4-H.  Here are some pictures of their sewing projects.  They are modeling them at the Public Style Revue.

Gabi made this wool coat.  It turned out really well!

Maya made a holiday set of pillowcases.  This is the St. Patrick's Day one.

All of Maya's projects won purple ribbons at the county fair.  This pillowcase set also won a purple ribbon at the Wyoming State Fair.

Maya's wool dress won 2nd place overall at the Wyoming State Fair!

Gabi also made this art caddy.  It won Grand Champion for Junior Construction at the Johnson County Fair.

Gabi won a purple ribbon at the county fair and the Wyoming State Fair on her wool coat.

The cakes that Amanda helped them decorate turned out great too!

Sheep Show

Both Gabi & Maya showed lambs at the county fair this year.  They had fun and all of their hard work paid off when they sold their lambs at the livestock sale.

Gabi named her lamb, "Patch"

Maya named her lamb, "Snowball."
