NINE!

Our sweet Maya girl turned nine at the end of May!  She has really sprouted this year and has really taken to the guitar, piano, reading, swimming, and running.  :)  She still loves to snuggle and play with her stuffies.  She will do great things and we can't wait to watch her soar!

New golf clubs!

 Maya had to share her birthday breakfast with Jacob when Grammy Mary & Papa Gary were here.  She is a good sport about it.

Maya wanted to go roller skating with her friends for her birthday party!  They had a fun time!

FIVE!

It is hard to believe that Jacob turned FIVE at the end of May!  He is such a happy-go-lucky sweetie pie!  He has brought so much joy to our lives and we cannot wait to see what the next five years and beyond have in store for him.

Jacob is still kind of obsessed with Paw Patrol and luckily has an aunt that put his every wish into the cake she made for him.  :)

Birthday party buddies

Cousin Love!  These cuties all have birthdays within two weeks of each other, so they get to celebrate all together.  :)

Jacob caught influenza in late April and was down with a fever for an entire week.  :(  Lots of snuggles and naps during recovery.  The rest of us didn't somehow managed not to catch it.

Mexico!!

We headed to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for Spring Break this year!  My Mom and Dad went with us and we had a blast!  It was so nice to slow down, soak up the sun, and enjoy some quality family time!

We also loved going into town and enjoying the local fare, shopping, and all of the people watching on the "malecon"

 

Joe and I took the girls on a ziplining adventure!  Jacob hung back at the resort with Grammy & Papa!  The girls were so brave and loved every second!

Maya got to play the maracas as we were serenaded by a mariachi!  :)

 Last, but definitely not least...the sparkling pool!  They especially loved the swim-up bar for strawberries and cream smoothies...yum!
