Basketball Fun!

 This is the 3rd year that Gabi has played with the "Buffalo Swish."  They have all improved so much over the years and are so fun to watch!

Even Jacob got in on the basketball fun this year.  If there was a basketball equivlent to a "dandelion picker" in softball, Jacob would fit that to a T.  He really didn't pay attention or want to touch the ball much, but he had a GREAT time!

Santa brought Maya a new lego set for Christmas...she put it together in about 30 minutes!

 We went to Christmas Eve Mass and then opened our presents at home afterwards.

We had the kids go through a scavenger hunt to find their last gift...a trip to Florida for Spring Break!  They had so much fun and really worked together.  Jacob even solved a clue that his older sisters could not figure out!!  :)  They are really excited to go to Disney!

December Festivities

December revolved around getting ready for Christmas, celebrating winter, and starting the winter sports season!

Maya and her friend built gingerbread houses on Saturday morning.

Gabi participated in the First Lego League competition with the middle school.  Her team of 5th graders got 8th out of nearly 70 teams from across the state grades 6-8.  They were super excited!

We had a fun day finding and cutting down our Christmas tree!  This was the best one yet!

 Gabi's 5th Grade class performed "The North Pole Musical"  She was a recorder-playing penguin.  Super fun!

 Jacob's PreK class performed for the parents. Jacob played "Joseph" in the Nativity.

We had lots of friends and family over throughout the season!  So fun to see our good friends from Montana for the evening.

November & Thanksgiving

The girls have really started to enjoy riding horses this year.  We bought a horse, which the kids now call, "Gus".  We haven't had the kids ride him yet, but he is coming along nicely and they should be able to once summer starts.  They are taking horse classes through 4-H and are loving it!

Jacob brings home so much fun artwork from preschool.  I love this one...it is so fitting of him.  :)

We spent Thanksgiving in Colorado at my Mom & Dad's house.  Of course, we took in a Colorado Eagles game while we were there.  They are loads of fun!

I don't have too many pictures from Thanksgiving day, but rest assured, we ate a lot of great food and had lots of fun!

 

We also celebrated Christmas since this will be our year to spend Christmas with Joe's family.
